It's been quite a while since my last journal post but rest assured DeviantART has and always will be my first foray into the wonderful world of online art communities! I've been keeping my gallery here up-to-date but if I haven't gotten around to replying to your wonderful comments and faves on my work I'm very sorry and know they are much appreciated! So, a few updates - I am currently preparing for my first solo exhibition, which will hopefully take place the first week of this July! Thank you very much for the Daily Deviation for No Light, No Light! All the favourites and encouraging comments on the piece have been great to see. It was my first foray into abstract art, as I usually work with more definitive form than that within my surrealist pieces. :bulletwhite: Been a while (yet again)... I've really been neglecting updating this and my LJ this year so far, which really doesn't make sense as its been the most eventful year I've had in a long time! But perhaps there lies the paradox; when you have a lot to update about, it's likely you simultaneously have a lot to do, so the former doesn't get done.
